Stress: “Nothing will ever come of you …”

Why does such a remark lead us to stress and burnout?

Because of such a remark, which may have been made in our childhood by a father or mother or another person important to us, we then often feel inferior, unappreciated, unaccepted, unwanted, and unloved.

Do we forget all this over time?

Not at all!

The remark becomes our unconscious belief that constantly affects us. All the time we try too hard to prove that we can achieve “something important” … and in the end we burn out.

This is the story of many who ask me to help them to get rid of stress.

However, I have not yet had the opportunity to help a person who would grow up in a loving family environment with a lot of support, appreciation, encouragement … but would still experience stress.

How's that?

Do you know anyone who grew up in a truly loving and stimulating environment and is free of challenges like stress, burnout etc.?

What are your experiences, what is your opinion?
